Dawn on Wednesday 16th May 2012 will see 8,000 additional commuters taking to the streets of Manchester in the form of miniature ceramic figures created by artist Lawrence Epps and distributed by Sykey.
The public are encouraged to handle and take away the figures for their own enjoyment. We would also love to hear responses to the project and any images or videos of the ceramic figures that people make.
Please send photos, videos, links, thoughts or other responses to the project which you would like to share to contact@sykey.org or by twitter to @sykeycollective. We will be using hashtag #littleclaymen.
We will also be posting as many of the responses as we can on this website.
The project forms part of the FutureEverything Festival and the FutureEverybody Art Exhibition which take place at the Museum of Science and Industry from 16th May – 10th June 2012.
